1. Per Product Listings
Per Product Listings is a new feature enabling you to create multiple Marketplace listings — all from one Seller account. No more having multiple products in competition on one listing.
What do YOU need to do? Wait to get your access email and then follow the instructions inside.
2. Support/ Marketing & PR Email Address Update
When we have PR and promotional opportunities, we need to get in touch with you! And when your customers have issues or needs, they need to get in touch with you! We have added designated email fields so you can choose where to receive all communications from us and from Marketplace customers.
Marketplace Customer Support Field: Add the email address where we should send messages from your subscribers on the Cratejoy Marketplace that need support.
Marketing & PR Field: Add the email address where we should send messages from Cratejoy about Marketing & PR Opportunities.
What do YOU need to do? Go to Marketplace Settings and fill out both fields.
3. Support Moderation
You’re running a small business and time is money. We want to improve communications to buyers and give you back some precious time all at once.
That’s why we've updated our support team’s access to customer/seller communications. When customers escalate inquiries to our team we’ll be able to serve you better by being able to reference previous customer/seller communications.
What do YOU need to do? Absolutely nothing. (Nice!)
4. Structured Shipping
Prompt and reliable shipping + shipping communication is the backbone of every successful subscription box business. Better shipping information presented to the customer → stronger CVR, higher renewal rates, and happier customers.
We’re now asking for more specific shipping information from you, and we are presenting this information to the customer in a much clearer way on your listing.
What do YOU need to do? Fill out this survey.
Survey will be available on your Seller Dashboard and can be retaken anytime you need to update your shipping information
5. Transactional emails
When a customer makes a purchase on the Marketplace, the “transactional emails” (order confirmations, shipping updates, etc.,) currently come from many different sources.
This has caused a considerable amount of buyer frustration and confusion, and is impacting our ability to bring you sales, renewals and expand your customer audience.
In order to provide a seamless, friction-free post-purchase experience for Marketplace buyers:
The Cratejoy Marketplace will start sending post-purchase transactional emails to Marketplace buyers, beginning with order confirmation, shipping updates, and more. These emails will be handled by our team with the goal of ensuring we bring you great customers over and over again.
What do YOU need to do? Absolutely nothing. this is projected to start by end of 2020
For some sellers, this means that order confirmations and other post-purchase transactional emails that were once sent by you will instead be sent from the Marketplace.
You’ll be able to create more than one listing soon.
Make sure emails are getting to you! Go to Marketplace Settings and fill out both fields.
Our support team is better able to support you by referencing customer/seller communications that happen via the Marketplace.
